copy right problem with image

hi. the user who added this image https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Jan_Krissler_(starbug).png told me that you want it removed because of an unknown copy right? The image was taken from a video recording of my talk by the VOC (video operation center) of the chaos communication congress. the image could be used.

Hi Yann, Can you explain why the picture of the vessel was deleted from that page J. & E. Riggin (schooner)? I checked all the parameters prior to posting it and had permission to use the photo. Perfect! I think I saw the section called "I have received permission from the original author (not me) to upload the file to Commons." and it says exactly that. Ok, man, this is complicated lol. Really makes you appreciate the amount of work that goes in Wikipedia. Glad I support them :-) I will get the media owner to get the info to the email link and hopefully rectify this. Good day! My friend (Наталья Шошитаишвили) contacted with me, to help her delete some files from commons, because as she found, there was not any watermarks on it. You reverted her additions. Can you help us to delete all files which uploaded before? Because as she informed me, the collection she owned was collected by her grandmother and this collection is now owned by her family. I am sorry, but that's not OK for Wikimedia Commons rules. We only accept courtesy deletions within one week of upload, and these images were uploaded more than one year ago. How can I restore this deleted photo of Michel Thomas?

I am no expert on how these things work, perhaps you can help me. A photo that I took in May 2004 of Michel Thomas receiving the silver star at the World War II memorial has been deleted. I cannot figure out why, and I would like to have it restored. Please advise what I need to do.

The only reason I tagged the image as copyvio is because the image was uploaded separately from the original image, which previously had a CCL. But now the copyright holder has since changed the licensing to be more restrictive. So it's not allowed to be re-uploaded. Btspurplegalaxy (talk) 23:12, 12 August 2022 (UTC)

Since you deleted File:Delvis Dutton booking report from Bulloch Jail on Dutton website All On Georgia.jpg as a copyvio, I'm wondering if that means the same should be done to all the other files licensed the same way which apparently come from the same source. File:Delvis Dutton (cropped).jpg, File:Delvis Dutton booking photo from Bulloch County Jail.jpg and File:Delvis Dutton Booking Photo From Bulloch County Sheriff Office.jpg all seem to come from the same source as the file you deleted. The last of the three is the source for the other two and it was uploaded under as {{PD-USGov}}, but the en:Bulloch County Sheriff's Department isn't part of the US federal government and Georgia doesn't appear to be one of the US states which release works by its employees into the public domain. -- Marchjuly (talk) 22:47, 12 August 2022 (UTC)
